I walked inside and sat down on the chair, daniella was at the corner of the dinning room playing with her doll, the moment she saw me, she ran towards me and hugged me while bimpe was seating down at the opposite side with her legs crossed over each other and her laps were flashing at me. I lifted daniella up and made her to seat on my legs,

ME: how are you daniella?

DANIELLA: baby tone I’m fine

ME: ***smiled at her.****

BIMPE: stood up and came closer to my side Daniella, that is uncle onihaxy, what did I say?

DANIELLA: uncle onihaxy.

BIMPE: **** patted her**** good girl, that’s my baby.

ME: ***opened the nylon and brought out the yoghurt and pop corn**** have these daniella, this is what I bought for you.

BIMPE: **** grin *** waoooooh, onihaxy!!!, like seriously, how did you know her favourite?, she so much love ice cream and popcorns. She can even go with a stranger because of it.

ME: smiled maybe our spirits just worked together for me to know what she likes,

Daniella took her popcorn with the ice-cream and returned to her doll, bimpe came closer and patted me on my laps with a flirty smile on her face.

BIMPE: where is my own ice-cream?

ME: I didn’t bring anything for you

ME: smile na jealousy go kill you

ME: smiled ok, I heard you, stand up***

BIMPE: no, I won’t, I will remain like this until you take your drink, you just have to stop seeing me as a witch, haba!!!!

ME: ok, let me have it,

BIMPE: ***took one of the cups from the table and gave it to me**** have it dear

ME: alright ***** received the cup and drank****

BIMPE: ***pulled closer and gave me a sharp kiss and patted my chin **** that’s my baby, thanks so much dear

ME: *** D##k signalled upon the kiss**** “chaiiiiii onihaxy!!!!!!”

Episode 12.

ME: get up and sit down

BIMPE: *****sat down on the chair**** ok dear,

ME: but bimpe, I don’t like it

BIMPE: what is that dear?

ME: **** whispered in yoruba **** the kiss offcourse, I told you we should stop it, what if anyone comes in or daniella sees us?

BIMPE: **smiled*** and you scared me sha, firstly, only you, me and daniella are in this compound so no one is coming in, secondly, she is a kid and besides she has been blocked by the other chair, and lastly, no big deal in kissing my inlaw, even if your wife betty is here, I will do that in her presence and nothing will happen.

ME: seriously, you no well,

BIMPE:smile na you and your wife no well,

ME: **** had jokes for a while*** so bimpe, why am I here?, what do you want to show me?

BIMPE: just calm down onihaxy, this is just past 11, there is still time for discussion, let me check what I am cooking and let’s eat first, then we can have time and strength to discuss. **stood up and went to the kitchen with her a#s swinging like a pendulum.

ME: ***picked remote from the able and switched to music channel****

About 12 minutes later, bimpe called me to join her at the dinning, I stood up from the living room and went to sit on the dinning, I picked up daniella and made her to sit on the next chair closer to me. Bimpe came out of the kitchen with 2 big dishes, plates and spoons, she dropped them on the table and was ready to serve the meal. She first served a white rice on two plates and later filled them up with chicken and stew, we began to eat while bimpe carried daniella on her laps and spoon fed her while eating at the same time.

ME: bimpe, can’t she eat by herself?

BIMPE: she can eat by herself just that she would spill the food over everywhere.

ME: ***continued eating**** ok

After the meal, bimpe told Daniella to go to living room and watch TV while we both remained at the dinning staring at each other,

ME: so bimpe, now that we are through with dinner, can we proceed?

BIMPE: onihaxy!!!!, you are just so eager sha.

ME: don’t mind me jaree, you know I hate suspense.

BIMPE: ok, let’s do it this way, which do you want first?, what I wanted to show you? Or what I wanted to tell you on how to get betty back?

ME: hmmmmmmmmmmm, are the two about betty?

BIMPE: no, different things entirely

ME: ok, let me hear about Betty first, that is the major issue and fear I have at the moment,

BIMPE: ok let me start with my own story, like 6 months before we met at fortlad hospital in abuja, I have met henry, he had an accident while driving and he was rushed to our hospital, I was the nurse on duty to attend to him during that period and I was so nice to him so he had my contact, one thing led to another, we started as friends, later, we developed feelings for each other and we started dating.

BIMPE: during that period, he had this rich girl he was dating, the lady was a daughter of a minister, as in, she was very rich, but the girl was so proud, arrogant and a drug addict so henry never loved her that much, he was only obeying his father’s order because the relationship was matched-make according to him. So when I got pregnant and his daddy heard about it, he was so angry, I could remember he sent for me, gave me a million naira cheque to abort the pregnancy and forget about his son but I refused and rejected it. To make the matter worse, henry’s daddy threatened to dis-own henry, froze his account and made sure he would never have any inheritance from his property, so henry had no choice than to withdraw himself and stayed away from me, infact, I went through hell.

ME: felt sober eeeyah so sowie, what happened later?

BIMPE: like I said, henry stayed away from me for like two months, henry’s father and henry’s girlfriend both threatened to kill me if I didn’t back off from henry, infact I remembered when some hoodlums came to my house to beat me up just because of this issue, but I had to take a bold step to claim what belonged to me. So I think the same thing is happening to betty, though I don’t know much about what happened to her in abuja, but I knew she ran away from home and came to lagos because she was forced to marry a guy he doesn’t like. She ought to have travelled out for her Msc since she finished service but her dad vowed never to sponsor her unless she obey his will. Her account was even frozen so henry had been the one responsible for her up-keeping.

ME: eeeeyah, nawa ooooooo. So what was the step you took?

BIMPE: will you be able to do it?

ME: why not?, I will do anything it takes to have betty back to myself.

BIMPE: ok, my sister took me to an alfa, he made some prayer and spiritual assistance for me, that was how I became mrs henry by fire by force.

ME: hmmmmmm. Spiritual things????, haa!!!!

And onihaxy, since you don’t have money, wealth and rich family to convince betty’s father of getting her hand in marriage, I think the only way out is to go spiritual on it. ME: ******sighed in a deep breath***** its well ooooooo,
I looked at daniella’s side and discovered she was sleeping already, I informed bimpe and she took her to her room to sleep there and she returned downstairs to meet me at the dinning while we resumed our discussion.

BIMPE: hmmmmm onihaxy!!, that is it ooooo. The hard way is the only way ooo, so go home and think well about it. And please, let it between just two of us, no third party please

ME: **took another deep breath*** ok bimpe, I have heard you. What about what you wanted to show me?

ME: ****silent*****

BIMPE: onihaxy, what is it now?

ME: I don’t think it is right nd proper to step into your matrimonial room for any reason at all.

BIMPE: and what made it wrong to do so?

ME: because it just didn’t sound right.

BIMPE: its not something I can bring downstairs, if not, I would have done that.

ME: smiled and what could it be?

BIMPE: I won’t say it. You need to see it yourself

ME: ****silent on the chair*****

BIMPE: never mind then, if you say you aren’t coming, no problem. Forget it then, when you are ready to leave, let me know so as to see you off.
*** walked sadly to the other side of the living room, sat on the chair and spreads her legs with her laps revealing up to the level beneath her pant, she picked the remote from the table and tuned to a channel****

ME: ***confused****

BIMPE: **took a glance at me and looked back at the TV screen****

ME: stood up and moved closer to her bimpe, please don’t be angry, I just don’t want to step into your room. Its not right at all. I’m sorry please.

BIMPE: frowned no problem, I heard you. From today henceforth, I will never be involved in any matter between you and betty again, never!!!!!

ME: haba bimpe!!, it hasn’t gotten to that now, I know you wanted my happiness and I know you have been trying all your best to make me have betty back to myself which I so much appreciate.

BIMPE: yelled and what has happened to all my efforts ehn? Wasted!!!, the more I try to help, the more you see me as a witch or evil lady, the more you try to avoid me as if I’m not human. No problem, go and solve whatever problem you have on your own. I have removed my hand totally.

ME: bimpe, I’m so sorry please, I may not be able to have betty without your support, if you haven’t revealed the last happenings to me, I wouldn’t have known something was going on behind me. Please bimpe, I’m so sorry.

BIMPE: I heard you. You can leave if you want to go, the door is opened.

ME: *** tickled her**** oya smile now

BiMPE: ***smiled**** onihaxy leave me alone ooooo, I will scream ooooooooo

ME: ***tickled her again**** oya scream. That will be nice

BIMPE: smiled onihaxy leave me alone jor

ME: I won’t leave you until you show me what you said I need to see.

BIMPE: I’m no more interested, shebi its my matrimonial room, so you don’t have to be there.

ME: silent for a while ok, I don’t mind any more, I’m so eager to see it.

BIMPE: **smiled*** onihaxy, leave me alone jor

ME: no, I won’t.

BIMPE: ** Resisted for a while and later stood up**** ok then, follow me.

Bimpe climbed the stairs and cat-walking as she was taking each steps with her booty oscillating infront of me and her inner wear was revealing as I was following her from behind, she got to her door and she opened it while I entered the room with her, she closed the door and I sat on the chair infront of her dressing table while she sat on the bed. I looked round the room to see how it looked like and I noticed it has the same arrangement with that of betty’s, just that the electronic gadgets in her room looked more sophisticated and her bed looked bigger.

ME: what a nice room you have dear

BIMPE: e shey, thank you sir.

ME: you are welcome, so what is it that you wanted to show me?

BIMPE: ****smiled*** so now that you entered my room, have I killed you? Or molested you?

ME: hmmmmmmmmmmm,

BIMPE: though I wanted to give you something, but that wasn’t why I told you to follow me here.

ME: really, so why?

BIMPE: I just wanted you to stop avoiding me and seeing me as a devil, I wanted you to be free with me and to make myself accessible to you anyday, anywhere, anytime.

ME: hmmmmm bimpe, I’m not avoiding you, I just want us to kill any feelings we have for each other and face our spouses.

BIMPE: its alrite, stood up from her bed, opened the drawer beside the bed and brought out a bunch of keys

ME: suprised what key is this?, what should I do with it?,

BIMPE: remember the promise I made to you after saving daniella!!, I told you I will always make you happy and comfortable at all cost.

ME: I still don’t get it dear.

BIMPE: the last time when I visited you at your bank, you told me you aren’t comfortable at where you squat and wanted to have a place of your own, two days later when I was in the the living room, I over heard henry asking betty if she had ever visited you at where you live, betty told her brother that you squat with your cousin and six other people in a room and that was why she hadn’t visited you yet till you have a place of your own because she won’t be free with you and won’t be able to sleep over. henry felt discouraged and disappointed and he said he doesn’t think you are serious, ready and man enough to settle down soon. I just thought of everything and got convinced that I should assist you in that aspect. So here is a bunch of keys to a mini 2 room self-contain at maryland, I have paid for a 2 years rent. I also furnished some part of the house.

I was so shocked, overwhelmed and surprised, I never expected this, I never knew bimpe could go this far for me, I have personally enquired about a room self contain at maryland and the price was 180k a year, how much more a 2room self contain, I stood up from the chair while she stood up from her bed, I was so overwhelmed and I couldn’t help it but to move closer to her and hugged her tightly, after a minute of tight hugging, I pulled back a little with my hand still wrapped around her waist, we both look at each other in the eyes, I opened my mouth and said “thank you bimpe”, she starred at my lips and sealed my mouth with a kiss of life.

Episode 14

At that moment, I forgot my vows, I forgot about the promises I made to myself not to be intimate with bimpe, I forgot I was in another man’s matrimonial room, I was so carried away in the kiss, my lips was busy rubbing her own while she pushes her tongue into my mouth and I sucked it and also pushed mine into her mouth. Adebimpe has a fresh breath and her lips tasted exactly like the wine I finished down stairs, we were busy swapping the upper and lower lips between each other and my hand started moving from her waist down to her booty, my pen*s also disappointed me and forgot to discipline itself, instead, it suddenly began to rise up at the level of the romance. We suddenly fell over to the bed and was about to move to the next phase when something happened, my phone began to ring. It was the sound of the phone that restored my senses back to normal, we both looked at each other with a look of disappointment written on our faces. I removed the phone from my pocket, checked the screen and realized it was betty.

ME: I’m so sorry bimpe, betty is calling me, I have to pick this call.

BIMPE: **sat up and looking disappointed *** no problem dear

While I was on phone, bimpe sat closer to the top of the bed, she rest her back at the furniture placed towards the wall and she was pressing her phone until the song of “sholee by sean tizzle” was emanating from her phone, she held the phone while still singing out, stood up from the bed, walked towards the door and picked the call as she opened the door and went outside.

BETTY: on phone onihaxy, are you the one playing “sholee”?

ME: no dear, it was ringing out from my cousin’s phone, he had a call

BETTY: alright, that song na mama daniella’s favourite oo

ME: really?

BETTY: yeah, she loves playing it always. Infact, the song is her ring tone and caller tune

ME: eyah, I love it too sha, the guy tried in the song, I just hope he sings another one better than this soon, or else, nigerians will just forget him like azadus.

BETTY: laughed funny you, and coincidentally, that phone rang at the exact time my daddy dialled aunty bimpe’s number.

ME: ****mo daran, “I don enter am”****** really?

BETTY: yeah, or is she with you?

ME: furious with me kee?, which kind talk be that?, abeg stop am, I no like am.

I stood up from the bed, picked the keys to my new apartment and also picked the envelope. I walked towards the door and opened it, I saw bimpe sitting on the staircase speaking to someone on phone whom I believed to be betty, she sat at the center and hence prevented me from walking through. I had no choice than to stand behind her till she ended her call. When she was through with her call, she turned to the back, stared at me from head to toe and held my leg.

ME: bimpe, let me pass,

BIMPE: no, we are going back inside.

ME: no na. Don’t let us do like that, remember we had an agreement.

BiMPE: **smiled**** just kidding dear, or do you want to touch another man’s property?

ME: why not?, if the property is worth touching na.

We both laughed and cracked jokes as she stood up from the stairs and we both walked downstairs to the living room. We sat down on the same side of the chair and we continued cracking jokes as I told her what betty said to me on phone and we both laughed over it.

BIMPE: that your wife sef!!!

ME: wetin do her oo?

BiMPE: she saw something, picked it and wanted to kill herself ontop of it, what does she want the person who lost the thing to do?.

ME: na two of una sabi.

BimpE: *laughed na the two of you no well

ME: thanks so much bimpe for all your care and concerns for me since my arrival in lagos. You have been so wonderful and you make me to wonder if this is not the same bimpe that had been terrorising me in the past.

BIMPE: nothing hidden dear, just that I have been pregnant twice after the birth of daniella.

ME: what happened to the pregnancies?

BIMPE: I had miscarriages, the first was after 2 months while the second was three and half month old pregnancy.*** feeling sobbed ***

ME: moved closer and pat her on her back I’m so sorry about that dear.

BIMPE: its alright.

ME: have you guys consulted a doctor concerning the issue?

BIMPE: yes we did. I have been placed on medications.

ME: I pray it works sha.

BIMPE: I hope so dear. That reminds me, how about your friend?

ME: who?

BIMPE: segun or what is his name?

ME: oh! Segun, he is fine. Its been long I spoke with him sha.

BIMPE: long kee?, why?

ME: since I started this banking job, I had been disconnected from everybody, I hardly chat with people again these days.

BIMPE: eeyah, I know you must have discussed about me with him, don’t lie onihaxy.

ME: not really, I just told him you are the wife of betty’s elder brother.

BIMPE: is that all?

ME: yes

ME: adebimpe, I need to start going now so as to get home on time

ME: funny you. Let me get going jaree, my cousin and other room mates will be home soon, and the room key is with me.

I left the house and walked out of the compound. I took a bus back to lekki gate and returned home from there.
On my way home, the thoughts of bimpe began to flood my brain and I suddenly began to develop a kind of likeness for her. I got home and dialled segun’s number and it wasn’t reachable again. Haaaa!!!, what could be happening to my friend?, this is so unlike him!!!!!!.
